We are a husband and wife team. John Draekul and Brittany Myra Smith head this award-winning independent film production company led by passion and love of the art form. We strive to present untold stories and make people think in a new way.

John Draekul

A lifelong bibliophile and nerd. One day his wife asked him to help film auditions and he fell in love with what the camera can do. Not long after he wrote and directed Draekul Films' first short film. He has continued to combine his love of stories with his love of film to bring new stories to life.

Brittany Myra Smith

A New York City-trained actress started her career in theatre performing in productions up and down the East Coast. She has worked on film and television ranging from independent to major motion pictures. You can catch Brittany onscreen in the Netflix original film Naked as the Hipster Bride or Spoken on Amazon Prime. She is currently working on new and exciting projects that are soon to be released.
